Juvenile Eagle in Tree

I took a quick ride through Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge to enjoy the spring-like weather we are having. I have no doubt that its the calm before the storm as March is usually the snowiest month. There were many folks with the same idea as the wildlife drive was very busy. I did notice many driving past the juvenile eagle in the gallery. He was high up in the cottonwoods at the exit of the drive but there was a small herd of deer grazing underneath that seem to be most folks focus. I didn’t get quite as close as I wanted too before he took flight. He was kind enough to pose for one photo though.
